Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited international citizens looking for permanent residency in Canada via the Canadian Experience Class plan. Applicants from the Canadian Experience Class can currently apply for permanent residency in Canada.
On August 27th, 2024, a significant milestone was achieved as about 3,300 invitations to apply for permanent residency under the Express Entry draw for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were successfully forwarded.
The round’s time and date were August 27th, 2024, and the Comprehensive Ranking System points of the least rated applicant requested were stipulated at 507. The tie-breaking law on June 5th, 2024, ensures a fair and transparent selection process.
In the last round, 3,200 requests to apply for permanent residency under the Express Entry draw for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were issued on August 14th, 2024.
The Canadian Experience Class is planned for skilled employees with Canadian work experience who desire to become permanent residents.
You must satisfy all the minimum requirements for Canadian skilled employment experience and language proficiency to be eligible.
To qualify for the Canadian Experience Class, you must have concluded at least 12 months of reimbursed skilled work in Canada (or an equivalent sum of part-time jobs) within the three years preceding your request. Furthermore, you are required to have achieved this employment skill while being endorsed to be employed in Canada as a temporary resident.
Your experienced work skills are required to be paid for, including income or stipends. This does not apply to volunteer work or unreimbursed training.

Again, you are not qualified for the Canadian Experience Class if you were employed without approval and your employment skills were obtained while you were not in Canada on temporary residency status.
Two provincial nominee program draws were performed in August, demonstrating the continuous opportunities. The first was on August 26th, 2024, in which 1,121 application Invitations were issued with a cut-off point 694. The next was handled on August 13th, 2024, in which 763 Invitations to apply were issued with a cut-off point of 690.
