Due to this, starting from the fall 2024 session, international students from these nations will gain from significant deductions in their tuition payments when they learn in one of the qualified undergraduate programs provided in English.
This renewable scholarship, which can be renewed for multiple years, is obtainable for students who satisfy specific criteria, including a minimum acceptance average of 80 percent and registration in engineering, social sciences, or science undergraduate programs in Fall 2024.
The final date for the application is May 1, 2025.

Qualification And Application Procedure
The institution notifies that to be eligible for the grant, foreign candidates are required to:
- Be a national of any nation in Africa or one of the nations mentioned
- Be freshly accepted in the Fall 2024 session or after in one of the qualified undergraduate programs provided in English in one of the faculties mentioned.
- You must not be registered in the French immersion stream, a specific language program at the University of Ottawa.
- Have an authentic study permit when courses begin
- Be registered full-time
Candidates for the Excellence scholarship must have an acceptance average of a minimum of 90 percent, while the people for the entrance scholarship may have an average of about 89.99 percent.
Duration And Renewal
The grant can offer sponsorship for four years, protecting $100,000 in tuition expenses. Recipients may continue the grant for up to 12 terms, provided they maintain qualification and full-time registration.
How To Apply
Interested candidates must start by presenting their requests via the Ontario Universities Application Center, a centralized application service for universities in Ontario, Canada.
After making an application, students will receive a Student Number, which enables them to access the institution’s UOZone portal to present additional documents for checks.
After the successful assessment, students will receive a conditional acceptance offer that may relate to the scholarship, depending on their educational background.
