UNESCO Internship Programme: Eligibility, Duration, Roles Offered, And More

The UNESCO Internship program is for current students and recent graduates. This article provides additional information and reviews the qualifications, period, roles, and other requirements.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has developed a training program for students and recent graduates. Interested applicants can review the qualifications, period, roles given, and more.

Qualification Measures

Applicants who are presently registered in a graduate course (master’s program, PhD, or equivalent, second university program or higher) can make an application for the program, or people who have recently concluded studies with a master’s program or PhD (or second degree as stated above), 1 year before the beginning of the training.

The applicant’s age cap for applicants is 20. Applicants must be at least 20 years old to make an application for the training program.

Applicants who have completed their full-time bachelor’s program but are not registered in a graduate program are not qualified to make an application.

Candidates in secretarial/assistant or technical/professional assignments must be registered in a secretarial school or a professionalized technical/professional institution. They are required to have gotten to the final year of their program or have recently graduated (within the last 1 year) from their school or university.

Period Of Internship

The minimum training period is 30 days, and the highest is six months.

Allowance

UNESCO does not pay trainnees. There is no payment, financial or otherwise, for internship assignments.

Crucial Directions

All students applying for this training program must authenticate their contact information within six months.

The request form can be completed either in English or French.

If your documents are not in any of the languages mentioned above, please offer an unofficial French or English translation.

The committee will not respond to every applicant. If picked, the manager will contact you directly. If you do not get an update within six months, it implies that your request has not been approved.
